About the role
Pathfinder are proud to assist our sister company CPS and are looking to recruit experienced car drivers to assist in the movement of passenger vehicles from the cruise terminal to and from the secure car park. You will also be required to check the passenger vehicles in using a hand held tablet.
This is an exciting time to be joining our team based in Dover and to be involved in supporting the port activities as a CPS Driver/Receptionist.
Your daily responsibilities will consist of:
Booking customer vehicles onto CPS handheld devices upon arrival at the cruise terminal.
Photographing all passenger vehicles as part of the booking process.
Advising passengers about the process upon return from their cruise.
Providing meet and greet services for passengers returning from their cruise and handing vehicle keys back.
Safely drive passenger cars/ vehicles between docks, cruise terminals, compounds and car parks.
Liaising with Head marshals/ marshals on arrival at parking locations.
To ensure that the highest of standards are maintained with regards to the handling of customer vehicles.
To inform the CPS Manager/ Supervisor of any problems found regarding the vehicles.
The successful candidate will meet the following requirements:
Be at least 21 years old.
Have a full driving licence.
Have a minimum of 12 months can driving experience (in order to comply with our insurance) with no more than 6 points on the driving licence and no drink driving disqualifications.
Excellent communication skills.
Smart appearance.
Successful candidates will be expected to attend Health and Safety Induction and a car driving assessment. You will be subject to Identification checks, referencing and DVLA checks.
