About the role
Pathfinder are proud to assist our sister company CPS and are looking to recruit experienced car drivers to assist in the movement of passenger vehicles.
This is an exciting time to be joining our team based in Southampton and to be involved in supporting the port activities as a CPS Driver. Start times are expected to start around 3pm and due to last anywhere from 6 to 10 hrs.
Evening Shifts will run April until October.
Your daily responsibilities will consist of:
Safely drive passenger cars/ vehicles between docks, cruise terminals, compounds and car parks.
Liaising with Head marshals/ marshals on arrival at parking locations.
To ensure that the highest of standards are maintained with regards to the handling of customer vehicles.
To inform the CPS Manager/ Supervisor of any problems found regarding the vehicles.
To observe the speed limits whilst in the port and when transiting between docks or on public roads, between East and West docks.
The successful candidate will meet the following requirements:
Be at least 21 years old.
Have a full driving licence.
Excellent communication skills.
Successful candidates will be expected to attend Health and Safety Induction and a car driving assessment. You will be subject to Identification checks, referencing and DVLA checks.
Benefits:
Pay rate increase from 1st April to £12.89 per hour weekdays and £13.45 per hour weekends and bank holidays, inclusive of paid annual leave accrual.
