Pathfinder spreads its recruitment operations far and wide and its latest initiative has involved supporting Southampton FC’s charitable Saints Foundation organisation.
Pathfinder manager Keeley McConnell and colleague Mae Campbell attended a scouting and recruitment fair at Southampton’s St.Mary’s Stadium that was designed to enhance a participant’s ability to interact with potential employers and also to provide possible pathways towards the journey into employment.
The event attracted interest from several companies and also opened up a number of opportunities for the participants, who were in the 16-25-year-old group and part of the Saints Work scheme, one of the Foundation’s initiatives.
Keeley commented: “It was a very worthwhile event that enabled the participants to interact with potential employers as well as giving them the chance to explore opportunities. We were delighted to support the event.”
Saints Foundation aims to inspire and support people of all ages and abilities across Hampshire and the surrounding area to develop their potential into excellence. The organization delivers targeted programmes across six key themes: Employability & Learning, Health & Wellbeing, Education, Saints4All, Schools & Community and Football & Sports Development.
